Two main Paleozoic continental collisions leading to the assembly of the palaeocontinent Laurussia, reshaped the surface topography and lithosphere in large areas of present-day Europe and North America. This volume presents recent advances in our understanding of the structure and evolution of these orogens from different geophysical methods and perspectives.
