The giveaway is open to all members of GEON who have answered the giveaway question in the designated giveaway channel. The giveaway closes at midnight GMT on 29 March 2024. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.
To enter the giveaway, participants must answer the giveaway question in the designated "giveaway" channel on the Discord server.
The prizes are: a Geological Society merch pack; a rock pet making kit/rock pet; £50 to spend on Geology Superstore; a posters package; and a temporary tattoo. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. The organiser reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without prior notice.
Winners will be selected at random from eligible entries using a random selection tool. The number of winners and the distribution of prizes will be determined by the organiser. The selection of winners will be final and binding.
Notification: Winners will be notified via direct message on Discord within one month of the giveaway closing. If a winner does not respond within one week of being notified or is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.
By entering the giveaway, participants grant permission for their Discord username to be announced publicly as a winner.
Personal information collected for the purpose of the giveaway will be used solely for prize fulfilment and will not be shared with third parties. By entering the giveaway, participants agree to the organiser's use of their personal information as described herein.
