Event details: An opportunity to be involved with a citizen-science project to enhance our understanding of the unique geology of Ham Hill. The morning will include an overview of the geology of Ham Hill, a review of geological field techniques, and an opportunity to install and explore free geoscience-focused software. You are welcome to bring your own laptop.

In the afternoon, we will explore the accessible geological exposures, including Sites of Special Scientific Interest and Local Geological Sites within Ham Hill Country Park.

Appropriate outdoor dress and stout walking boots required. Hard hat not essential, though you are welcome to bring one. Bring a packed lunch, Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available.

This is an adults-only event. There is no cost to attend, though donations are gratefully accepted.
