Following the undoubted success of the inaugural event organised on behalf of The Geological Society, the second Shale UK Conference took place on 4-5 March 2015 at the state-of-the-art facilities of Milton Court in London's Barbican.
The Programme
Shale UK combines expert analysis and views from industry, government and academia. The 2015 programme featured the latest research findings and technical developments, drawing on lessons from the US on how geoscience can enable better understanding of the challenges and empower better decision making.

An impressive line-up of speakers gave their insight on the most pertinent questions facing the development of shale oil and gas, including:
