The Geological Society hosted the 2017 Higher Education Network (HEN) Annual Meeting, with a general theme of Teaching excellence in the geosciences.
This meeting provided a forum for lively, informed debate between teachers, students, practitioners, employers and other stakeholders in the GEES disciplines. What does ‘excellence’ mean, and how is it demonstrated and evidenced?
The timetable also included the HEN AGM, to which all delegates were invited; and an evening drinks reception.
