Water has been the story of the summer - too much rain, not enough groundwater, hosepipe bans and flooding, all within the same few months. What is the state of water resources in the UK, and what effect will the Olympics have? Professor Paul Younger is Director of the Newcastle Institute for Research on Sustainability, which defines sustainability as 'Enough, for all, forever'. Following his Shell Lecture, we spoke about his views on the UK's water management strategy, how London is coping with the Olympic demand, and how we can tackle limited water resources in the future.
