Join The Geological Society on 1 October 2024 to kick off the month of Earth Science Week for a screening of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001).
Arrive at our historical venue on Piccadilly, take a seat in our intimate 150-person theatre, and watch as Frodo and his eight companions set out on a journey to destroy the powerful One Ring and save Middle-Earth from the Dark Lord Sauron. Importantly, there will be the opportunity to learn more about the geology of Middle Earth.
Middle Earth-themed dress is encouraged!
Drinks will be available to purchase from our bar on arrival.
Fees
The ticket price is £15, with a concession rate available at £12. Any surplus raised from this event will support our education and outreach activities.
