The Library is extremely grateful to Dr. John Davey for his donation, which allowed us to restore Travels among the Arab tribes inhabiting the countries east of Syria and Palestine… (1825) by James Silk Buckingham. This book was very popular when first published in 1825 and we are delighted that the Society’s copy can now be similarly enjoyed by future generations.
