Fugro Endorsed Courses - Cone Penetration Tests
The Fugro technical course on Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) has been running for 18 years and is endorsed by The Geological Society.
The subject of the course is of interest to offshore wind farm developers and any other geotechnical engineers because CPT provides high quality data on geotechnical parameters of the soils and sediments that it penetrates. It is also of interest to geo-environmental engineers and scientists because there are now a wide range of alternative cone sensors that can measure different environmental variables from hydrocarbon contamination to seismic profiling.
Approximately six courses are held throughout the year and each course is completely free to attend. They are always held in-person from 10am - 4pm at suitable venues.
Over 1000 geotechnical and geoenvironmental professionals and students have attended so far.
