Members of the Society are welcome to join any of our Specialist Groups, known as Professional and Scientific Interest Groups (PSIGs), as well as our Affiliated Groups (AGs). Please note that affiliated groups are external organisations not managed by the Society, and may charge an additional fee for membership.
All Specialist Groups are represented on the Science Committee, which oversees activity by the groups via our Special Groups Sub-Committee.
The Specialist Groups have preferential access to use of Burlington House for their meetings and events. Groups can find out more in their handbooks, or by contacting venuehire@geolsoc.org.uk for further information about services and spaces available.
