Chartership

Members of the Geological Society have the opportunitiy to become Chartered. Accreditation as a Chartered Geologist (CGeol) or Chartered Scientist (CSci) is a sign to clients, regulators, employers and the general public that you are a competent professional who can demonstrate a high level of knowledge, skills and experience. I am incredibly proud to be a member of the Geological Society. Not only has it helped me in my career and guided me through my Chartership, it also provides me with a community of like-minded colleagues and a regional community through the Regional Group Meetings.

Working in Geoscience is a career path which is more important now than it has ever been and the Geological Society showcases what an amazing and varied group of people we are.

Most importantly, my membership supports so many brilliant activities which keeps Geoscience alive across the country.
