- A large selection of rocks, minerals and fossils from around the world are also available for participants to examine and handle.
The PowerPoint presentations work chronologically forward in time from the oldest rocks (the Precambrian, Lewisian) through to the present day. Palaeogeographic maps and cross sections are presented for each time period, alongside relevant photos, diagrams and geological maps from across Scotland.
