The IGCP welcomes proposals for new projects. Applications are considered in detail by the secretariat in Paris. They require a letter of support from the National Committee from at least one of the home countries of the project leaders. (Please note that a letter of support is not required from all the National Committees of co-leaders.)

If you wish to seek endorsement of the
External Relations Committee of the Geological Society (which acts as the UK National Committee for IGCP) for a project proposal in which you are involved, please email Alicia Newton -
[email protected]. Please allow three weeks for a response from the ERC.
