Lyme Regis Development Trust are running a day of activities including a play and fossil walks.

Play: The Fossil Lady of Lyme: The story of Mary Anning

Mary Anning tells her fascinating story; the tale of her life, her friendships, her struggle to make her mark (and put food on the table). Alison Neil’s highly entertaining one-woman play is both amusing and moving.

Venue: The Hub, Lyme Regis

Cost: £10 (£7.50 under 18s)


Mary Anning Walk

Join local guide Natalie Manifold to hear about the remarkable Mary Anning, fossil hunter and scientist, born in Lyme Regis whose amazing discoveries helped change our understanding of the world.

Venue: Lyme Regis Musuem, Bridge Street, Lyme Regis DT7 3QA
Time: 1.30 - 3pm
Cost: £4/£7.75

Target audience

The play is aimed at ages 12 and over. All ages welcome on the walks.
