Dan McKenzie and friends: highlights from the Bullard labs

On 21 February 2012, the Geological Society hosted the premiere of Richard Thomas’ film, based on the early research of Dan McKenzie and featuring many of his colleagues, collaborators and friends.

The film is a rare insight into the early history of the theory of plate tectonics, one of the most important scientific theories of the twentieth century. It was made possible by a gift from a longstanding Fellow of the Geological Society of London.

The film was produced by the University of Cambridge, which owns all right, title and interest, including copyright. Those wishing to reproduce short clips or extracts in films, sound recordings and broadcasts and on Internet websites should seek a licence by applying in writing to Sarah Day ([email protected]).
