Since 2004, the Society has been the publisher of choice for books resulting from IUGS-related programmes or meetings. These books are published in one of the Society’s own series, and the proposal should be made in the normal way.
Please make it clear that it is an IUGS-related proposal. IUGS will benefit financially from these books and its logo is included on the cover.
Authors should follow instructions for the appropriate Society series.
SCAR Publishing Agreement
The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research has an agreement with the Geological Society for publication of books arising from SCAR Earth science activities. These books are published in one of the Society’s own series, and the proposal should be made in the normal way.
